New twist on party bags!

Hi everybody,
Thanks for stopping by! Today i have been creating some super cute little berry baskets to use as party guest treats.... much cuter and more personal than the usual little plastic loot bags.....and they beautifully display all those goodies!

They were so easy to create and require a die cutter (fancy name for a machine that cuts card, paper and other materials into precise shapes), such as a Big Shot. These machines make SO many incredible things and are designed to cut various materials as well as emboss. The truly are a wise investment. I received mine for Christmas 2013 so have had it just over a year and i use it SO much. It was actually the Big Shot which got me into paper crafting to the level i am and i wouldn't be without it!
The Berry Basket Bigz die is a brand new item from the spring/summer catalogue and i thoroughly recommend it...its fantastic fun to use! My head is brimming with ideas to use these little baskets for!

So have a little look on my Stampin' Up page for more inspiration!!

A gift of love......gorgeously homemade!

Hi all,
My gorgeous God Daughter Gloria Rose was born last year and after searching for something to buy for her i actually gave up knowing that inspiration would hit! And it did....yesterday evening i was looking at pictures of 2014 and reminiscing on the last 12 months. Last year for me was quite a toughie but photos really remind you of the great times. I found a picture of Gloria and myself and realised she was the greatest gift of 2014 and that that should be celebrated as we move into 2015.....so i got a nice box frame and created a little celebration of her to put on her bedroom wall.

I'm really pleased with the outcome as its bright and full of life just like her!!
The other fabulous thing about this project was playing around with some of the Sale-a-bration items i've received on pre order. The ribbons, buttons and stamps are all part of our fantastic promotion and you could get them FREE with every £45 spend.
PLUS......theres not long to wait until the launch...... 6th January and we're live!!!

So use that precious christmas gift money you may have received and treat yourself to some gorgeous gifts to create wonderful projects.......make that gift keep on giving!!!!

I won the Great British Craft off with Stampin Up...... YAY

Hi all, just wanted to share the news that i was one of the 10 winners of the Great British Craft Off this year with Stampin Up...... Very excited as its the first competition I've entered and putting myself up against some of the most amazing crafters in our Stampin Up family was quite anxiety provoking!!!!
So i was really excited to see my name amongst the list of winners released this afternoon!!
The project i made for the Showstopper challenge was using a christmas stamp and framelit set and adapting it for an all round usage in the form of a wedding card.

I just wanted to share this as 2 years ago i had no creative tendencies toward paper crafting and even less ability! But i truly believe we all have creativity and ability within us and some of the guys who've inspired me over the last few months that I've met through the Stampin Up family have really helped my confidence! Thanks everyone!!!

CRACKERS!!!!!

Today I've been making really cute little crackers for my friends. They are just a perfect size for a little girly gift like a lipstick, nail varnish, chocolates, jewellery and knock the spots off of boring christmas wrapping! They are truly adorable.
They were super easy to make and i used the envelope punch board for it.....that thing is SOO versatile
So a piece of trim the tree paper and a bit of velvet ribbon and there we have it. The stamp set i used was from Pictogram Punches and the Ink Real Red.

Im now in the process of making a gorgeous set for my christmas table and am excited to go shopping for some cute little gifts to go inside!!
Fancy a go??? Give me a shout and i'll send out the instructions for you!

Happy Crafting,
