EXCITING NEWS!!!! AN EVENING WITH PHILIPPA HANNA!!!!

    So my exciting news is now official. I have been approached as a sponsor and fundraiser for the amazing Philippa Hanna to help raise funds for her to take on the HUGE Collabro 2015 tour as the support!!! For those of you who are unfamiliar, Philippa is a northern Lass whose lyrics are so inspiring and touching they really do change lives!
I first became a supporter of Philippa's about 18 months ago when i was introduced to her music. Her lyrics were so moving to me as a woman, a christian and a broken human! You really don't need to have any of the previous prerequisits to love her music however.........shes just an all round fabulous musician! 
As some of you will know I'm a christian and therefore have a huge interest in supporting Philippa to bring her extraordinary work to a secular society! And she is taking great strides......touring with Lionel Ritchie, Blue and next Collabro as well as song writing with some amazing celeb talents!
But this work doesn't come cheap...... i am passionate about Philippa reaching as many ears as will listen...... from the point of view of a woman, a mental health worker, a christian and a lover of natural unadulterated talent! 
So..........im sponsoring the packaging for the raffle prizes... Stampin up style!!!! And selling packs of my hand crafted christmas cards of which i will be donating 50% to Philippa's team through RocketFuel.

Crafting with Kids

Hi all,

I had the honour yesterday of doing a fun filled craft workshop for a 6th birthday party! It was so lovely......i prepared a bag of crafting goodies for each child and we made cards and gift boxes with gusto. The children were so excited to get started and you could hear a pin drop. The concentration on their faces was fantastic and the make and takes looked really fab! Such a great group of young children.
I was really hoping that the event would be a success but it actually surpassed expectation and I'm real chuffed with how it went. Im really hoping i'll get the chance to do more events for children in the future.
Please do let me know if you'd like more information, I'm fully DBS checked and am happy to work with you on theming etc. This party was with a Frozen theme and i was presented when i arrived with a fantastic frozen themed space to craft in!

For my parties i provide a hand crafted party bag of top quality crafting goodies for every guest and a special gift for the birthday child. Hand crafted Party invitations and Thank you cards, along with 2 crafting technique sessions aimed at the childs age for them to get stuck into. Approx 40 mins each! With a break in the middle for refreshments you may be serving.

Exciting Times

Well, since returning from my trip I've been approached with a very exciting opportunity which i can't wait to tell you. I'll keep you all posted and as soon as i am able to i will reveal all! This is such a fab job!!!!!!

Back from a wonderful break!

Feeling totally refreshed and inspired by my time in Tunisia. What a beautiful place. The people are overwhelmingly friendly and happy! It really was infectious and i found myself sitting at the beach bar jotting down ideas and notes for some Tunisian inspired projects. The colours, the smells,  the sun and the truly atmospheric stormy skies.... am truly thankful to have the opportunity to immerse myself in this stunning culture. So keep your eyes out for some of my inspired projects
