Happy Home Christmas Card.

A lovely card handcrafted by myself and then showcased at a recent event where all the ladies recreated this for themselves. A really good opportunity to test out some great techniques and I have to say it was very successful. I think receiving a handmade christmas card is just lovely and feels very personal. 

Very simple to make and requires a Piece of Black card slightly smaller than you card front, I used a face cloth to make the snowy effect by dabbing it into the ink pad then onto the card. Then using a circular hole punch into the front. Using whisper white card stock for the feature plate and using the adorable Holiday Home stamp set from the AW catalogue, stamp an image to your liking and place the whisper white panel behind the black. Next stamp your sentiment on to the black card....i used the versamark glue pad and then embossed using the white embossing powder and the heat gun *cheeky tip.....the heat gun is an awesome christmas gift, so useful and fun to use!!! I then used a piece of crochet trim ribbon to wrap around the black card before sticking the black card to the white card. I used sticky 3d pads (called Stampin Dimensionals)  to add some great dimension. The other half of the sentiment used above which is in the same stamp kit I stamped on the inside in a lovely Real Red Ink. And thats it!!!! Stocking filler?

Hi all, just had a little play in my craft room today and in 5 minutes had made this really chic bookmark! With christmas around the corner i think  this would be a lovely little addition to a gift for an avid reader!

This project really is SO easy to create!

Tis the season....."nearly"

Hi Guys and Gals,

Ive finally decided to bite the bullet and concede that Christmas really is just around the corner and have made a start designing the first of my Christmas Cards. The one i have to show you all today will be part of the Limited Edition Charity card packs I'm creating..... (Message to order!!! 4 Limited Edition Handmade cards in different designs for £4) 

I got myself in the mood by indulging in a highly calorific treat of Honey and Almond Hot Chocolate and a Blueberry muffin from a rather well known coffee shop chain and got to it!!!!

Yes.....it was pretty lush!

So now to the card!!

This was really simple to make. A super cute polar bear on a crisp winters night! The autumn/winter catalogue really does have some beautiful stamp sets for the festive season and it can be tricky to choose....but i find this one so versatile!!

I curved the top edges of the card to give it a warm feel which draws your eyes in to the image. I also ripped the edge of some whisper white card stock to create the illusion of a fluffy white snow drift!

Christmas Card

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to share with you my latest project!!

I'll be incorporating this design into my Philippa Hanna Limited Edition Card Packs and have begun to take pre orders already!

It was a REALLY simple project and looks so pleasant and tranquil!

Why not have a go at recreating this for someone you love. Below i'll leave a list of the materials I used to make this so feel free to visit the online shop and have a browse.

The great thing about this design is that it will co-ordinate with any sentiment and the peaceful colours are just beautiful! Stampin' Up seem to be so good at creating wonderful colours and making sure everything co-ordinates.... sure makes my job easier!
