Season of weddings is looming..... time to get romantic with this gorgeous gift box

I am such a fan of weddings....the venues, the flowers, the dress........I'm such a romantic and get all aquiver when the season to begin creating gorgeous wedding products arrives....not that it ever really goes away. Stampin Up are totally genius at creating the most beautiful and easy to use products to create something totally unique for your own big day. I've been married for 10 years in august and remember so vividly planning and how important it was that the day was personal to us with little touches that we'd made ourselves. If only id known about Stampin Up back then. From the invites to wedding favours to boxes for the cake.....its all there.
This week I sat a made a gift box for a wedding gift using the "for the new two" stamp set and a pre cut and scored flat fold box... super easy. Just a case of decorating it....which lets be honest is the BEST bit.

I used the aqua painters to very lightly add a splash of summery meadow style colour to the project. The flowery decor is what we refer to as a "belly band" and it simply slides off the box and can be put back on if needed. I love gift packaging that you can put back to its beautiful former glory when you've got at the contents.  Find below a list of the products i used to create this, i'd love to give you some inspiration for your own big day and totally appreciate anyone who shops through me and would be only too pleased to become your Stampin Up craft demonstrator.

Quality time with friends...thats a happy place!

Afternoon all, hope you've had a lovely day.
I spent the weekend catching up with friends and drinking coffee.....it was so lovely.
I have such a diverse bunch of friends I realised as I sat there chatting and putting the world to rights.
In our little group we were 2 Spanish, 1 Morrocan, 1 Carribean and me...the UK contingent!! It made me realise how precious female friendship is.. Our lives run at the pace of a racehorse a lot of the time so taking time out to relax with each other is really precious.
I truly appreciate living in a city which is so multicultural and where everyone brings something new and fresh to the table.
So inspired by this todays make is a card for a friend which I love. I used the aqua painting technique and used an embossing machine to create a lovely textured heart pattern on the feature card. Stampin up also have a really sweet little craft stapler which I pinned the sentiment tag on with.
The stamp set I used is aptly called the perfect blend and is very funky and modern.....love it!
What do you think???

I'm unsure as to why the product list decided to do this....however.....i have no idea how to correct it....#glitch!
