Wonderful Waterfalls.

Hi all,
Today I've been having a blast creating some birthday and new baby cards using scored card to create a waterfall type effect

This is one of the birthday ones and i just loved using the Birthday Bash speciality designer series paper. Its so bright and refreshing. And Yay, it hasn't retired so its still available.....might have to get me some more!!!

The next ones were for a new baby, both unisex yet super cute. This stamp set is my favourite new baby set so far. I find it so simple yet totally versatile! Its called little sunshine and co ordinates (clever Stampin' up....would expect nothing less!!!) perfectly with the sweet dreams designer series paper and buttons. It seems an age ago that i held my youngest son in my arms....and id have loved to get creative with baby announcements and thank yous!! Oh well.....maybe when i'm a grandma....in years and years and years!!

My final play was this unisex birthday card with a bit of glitz. The glimmer paper sure stands out and gives it a Hollywood feel. I'm really sad to see this paper on the retired list :( But never fear....Stampin' up will always come back with new products to adore even more and i'm totally excited to discover whats in the new annual 2015/2016 catalogue. Which us demos get a sneaky look at tomorrow!!!! Yippee.
For you guys though, there's a little bit longer to wait. But remember the old saying....."the best things......"
Please do leave me a comment if you would like to give me some feedback or show me your work. Stampin' up crafting is sharing remember!
Awesome.

Here's a little list of the gorgeous products i used and i hope i may have inspired you to have a go...i'd be more than happy to help you. Alternatively why not join my card craft class on the 30th may. Booking essential. This is just one of 4 cards we'll be making.

See flyer below.

Well thats it from me,

Ive been privileged to support MIND today!

Hi all,
Just wanted to share a little of my day with you. Today i exhibited and sponsored a wedding and gift fair in aid of MIND the mental health charity. Its a charity close to my heart as I've worked within Mental Health for 16ish years and am a sufferer of depression myself.
It was lovely to meet so many couples planning their special day and share inspirations and ideas with them.
Im hopeful that some of them will consider making their own wedding products as i confidently told them and demonstrated how easy AND super economical it can be. Im so confident in stamping up products that they are a pleasure to recommend. It would be awesome to hear from some of them again maybe...... and maybe even support them with tuition and advice. Now thats something you don't get buying products from a shop! Love the relationship you can build with customers....i've made some very lovely friends through it!! Below is a few pics of my stall today and a couple of unflattering ones of me in the flow!! lol

Im really hoping that some more charity events come my way. I love the sense of purpose it brings!! Ive recently done Rainbows Africa and Tearfund and thoroughly enjoyed them both...... and lets hope the monies they raised make a difference xxx
As always thank you for stopping by!

Baby, baby!!

Hi all,
Thank you for dropping by today. I've had such a busy week and at the weekend attended a training event in Birmingham where we shared some beautiful ideas and created some gorgeous projects all whilst learning something new and enjoying each others company. I had a wonderful time.
As part of the gathering we take along 5 projects we've recently made to inspire, challenge and share with each other. I'm going to show one of mine today which i really enjoyed making. Its so cute......and i LOVE cute!!

Its a sturdy little keepsake box with a covered window full of little thank you cards for new parents to give to loved ones. I think its a really sweet gift to give when a baby is born and super useful. The box can them be used to store cute keepsakes. There is something really lovely about creating a gift for someone from start to finish.... id be overjoyed to receive something similar....although not for a new baby, that ship has well and truly sailed!!!
So... what do you think?

Below is a list of the products i used for my project and by clicking on them you'll be taken to my online shop to browse or purchase if you feel you'd like a go!
Don't forget to get in touch if you need any advice or ant to share your products with me....that's the best part of creating.....the sharing!
Next week i'll be immersing myself in the world of weddings as i prepare to exhibit at a wedding fair in aid of MIND. I'll be back with some of my examples soon.....then we can indulge our romantic side together!!
Take care and as always huge thanks for joining me!!

Big Hello!

Hi all,
its been a while since i last blogged as ive been very busy with my children recently. They are 5, 7 and 11 and have had much busier lives than me recently! However i did manage to get a few Easter cards made and sent, one of which i wanted to share. I just love the colour of the card stock i used and think it looks great together. The shades are Bermuda Bay and some Sale A Bration Designer paper.. Really fun and edgy combo i thought!

So Sale A Bration may be over till next year now, but diving into some of the beautiful items in the spring/summer catalogues is definitely on the cards for me! Not to mention that Stampin Up have just added LOADS of cool items with up to 80% off to the clearance rack....some serious bargains to be had folks! Pop through to my online shop for a little nosey!
And remember.....with the right products you can make some show stopping cards and gifts for your loved ones...totally unique anr far nicer than a bought one from a shop.
Give it a try.....and please share your work with me if you like....would love to see x
Coming up next for me is a weekend convention with some other fabulous Stampin Up demonstrators where we'll be sharing inspiration ideas and the love of our job. I need to make q fair amount of projects to take with me next week so i'll share my results soon.....

Season of weddings is looming..... time to get romantic with this gorgeous gift box

I am such a fan of weddings....the venues, the flowers, the dress........I'm such a romantic and get all aquiver when the season to begin creating gorgeous wedding products arrives....not that it ever really goes away. Stampin Up are totally genius at creating the most beautiful and easy to use products to create something totally unique for your own big day. I've been married for 10 years in august and remember so vividly planning and how important it was that the day was personal to us with little touches that we'd made ourselves. If only id known about Stampin Up back then. From the invites to wedding favours to boxes for the cake.....its all there.
This week I sat a made a gift box for a wedding gift using the "for the new two" stamp set and a pre cut and scored flat fold box... super easy. Just a case of decorating it....which lets be honest is the BEST bit.

I used the aqua painters to very lightly add a splash of summery meadow style colour to the project. The flowery decor is what we refer to as a "belly band" and it simply slides off the box and can be put back on if needed. I love gift packaging that you can put back to its beautiful former glory when you've got at the contents.  Find below a list of the products i used to create this, i'd love to give you some inspiration for your own big day and totally appreciate anyone who shops through me and would be only too pleased to become your Stampin Up craft demonstrator.
