Great new project!

Hi all,
Whilst i ought to be packing for my Holiday with my friend to Tunisia on sunday i just couldn't resist getting into my craft room and having a play! I created a piece of Box Frame Art which came out beautifully and it only took less than an hour to do! Im quite excited to get it up on the wall in my Bathroom!!

I used the Seasonally Scattered Stamp set item number 135020 from the seasonal catalogue to print the gorgeous "love" centrepiece. After loading the stamp with ink i used a damp cotton bud to wipe off the purple ink from the tiny hearts and using the real red marker, penned the hearts in again. This is such a simple technique but looks so stunning! Almost as though its a high quality print as opposed to an ink stamp!!! For all the tiny flowers i used the Petite Petals stamp set from the Annual Catalogue, item number 133152 and the co-ordinating punch, item number 133322. The colours i used for the flowers were Strawberry Slush 131178, Coastal cabana 131175, Crisp Cantaloupe 131176. The "Love" was stamped with Perfect Plum 126954 and i also printed "peace and joy" with the Perfect Plum. This stamp is from the current Hostess set which you could earn by hosting a party with me before the 31st October 14. The box frame was from Ikea but they are on sale in many places at a really small price!
Unfortunately the curly blond child does not come with a catalogue number......he's all mine! Roman decided he'd photo bomb me whilst trying to get a photo of my project!
Hope you are all having a great day.......please feel free to ask any questions and share pictures of your projects! Please use my online shop if you'd like to have a go to create this for yourselves!

Peace On Earth

Hi everybody!,
Its that time of year when we need to be really thinking about the Christmas Season, especially for those who like to make personal and hand crafted cards and gifts..... and so today thats what I've been doing. It seems so far away until you work out its only 13 weeks.
I love Christmas, I love the feel of giving and seeing people begin to get excited. The buzz is infectious and I'm right in there with the festive best of them.
Im also Christian so for me its a very significant time. One that brings reflection, thanks and peace. In following projects i will be attempting some more Christian projects which excites me greatly!!
But lets be honest not a lot doesn't excite me where Stampin' up products are concerned. The seasonal catalogue is full of total yumminess and I've tried to sit and write a list of what id like most! Its really not easy.....i see potential gorgeous craft projects in all of it!!!
So back to todays crafting....i decided to start with a really simple card which is just stunning!

This was made using the Natures Peace stamp set, item number 135116 and £21.95 from the annual catalogue.
Its truly is so pretty and i used the Stampin Write markers to simply colour on to the stamp which gave me the multi coloured effect! The colours I used are Real Red, Garden Green and Chocolate Chip......it really is so easy, these pens are awesome! Double ended with a fine nib and a thicker nib which works essentially as a paintbrush! They can be bought in sets of 5, 8 and 10 dependent on your colour choices....honestly you will be so impressed by them! At my open day on Saturday my guests thought they were watching some sort of magic happening!
Of course i used the Whisper White card stock which is just the smoothest feeling card and takes to the ink so beautifully! This can be found in the Annual Catalogue, number 106549 and at £7.50 for 40 sheets is a real must have.
The ribbon isn't Stampin up however as i haven't received my order of ribbons yet so this is by "we are memory keepers"!
If you feel you would like to have a go at some christmas stamping please go ahead and look in my online shop, there are lots of gorgeous christmassy images to choose from.
And lets be honest, theres nothing quite like receiving a hand made card from a loved one!

So for now its over and out, Thanks for stopping by,

What a week!

Hi all,
Well I've had a crazy busy week this week, with the Highlight being the launch of my Stampin' Up business. The day panned out with Cake, Pimms and lots of creative workshops for all my guests. The atmosphere was great and everyone seemed to enjoy having a go with the products! I really hope i inspired some creativity in some of them and that they'll be hungry for more.... Next week i plan to link up my blog with my online Stampin' Up shop and get to creating projects on here for you all to trial. You will also be able to enquire about hosting your own workshop and earning yourself some amazing goodies!! Heres a few pics from the day!
Have a great weekend all,

Welcome to you x

Hi, Thanks for stopping by. This is my first post on my first blog so I'm quite excited to get to grips with this new experience.
I hope you will keep popping back to have a look at my recent projects and ideas and maybe even contact me for information or chat.
So who am I?
Well I'm a 34 year old married mum to 3 boys and its only over the past 18 months that I've developed a huge love for paper craft! About a month ago i decided to take my passion a little further. I love making craft for people and have been selling my handmade cards for about a year. But it didn't quite quench my thirst.....i have a passion for community and building relationships and realised that what i really wanted was to craft WITH people not just FOR people.
So along came Stampin' Up with the opportunity to do just this. So here i am, Launching my own business and its SO much fun! I LOVE IT.
Im really hoping this Blog may give people a chance to get excited about craft too.....lives are so busy these days and the need for hobbies is at an all time high....the benefits of having "ME" time have been essential for my wellbeing as a past sufferer of post natal depression.
I started this journey as a sketcher of stick men and my artistic talents ran to finger painting! So the fact I'm now where i am brings me great joy and self confidence. And if i can do it!!! ............ Im sure you can fill in the gap!
